A human couple that lives on the edge of Venza in one of the older, more rural districts, Gendrew is a master chef whose dream is to make the perfect edible golem. So far his attempts have all fallen short, but he continues to seek the knowledge necessary to perfect it. HIs wife, Andolyn, is a high level mage that is semi retired after spending many years of adventuring. She aids her husband in his quest, and makes her services as a mage available to those who have the coin to hire her, but she generally prefers to stay pretty low key. While she doesn't have any enemies that would try to kill her, she does have several that still harass her from time to time as opportunities present themselves. Andolyn has been known to work with her former adventuring companions to adapt certain divine spells to be used by an arcane caster, though precisely what process she uses is unknown to any but herself and even her companions don't know the full details of it. Together, they and their servants (Emilio, a tempermental fire elemental that lives in the stove; Rowena, a halfling servant girl) live a mostly quiet life providing their respective services (cooking and magic consultation) to the nobility of the town.
