Antonio Moretti is the current head of the Moretti household, living in the Incudine district with his adult children and his maid, Carla. For generations, the Moretti family has led Venza is glass artwork, but now his business is in decline. Moretti is a widower, having lost his wife years ago to an unfortunate accident (she was thrown from her horse.) He has the air of a somewhat arrogant man, tempered by sadness of his lost wife and the general decline of the Moretti family's prestige.
The relationship between Moretti and his maid, Carla, could best be described as a trusting antagonism, or even a dysfunctional family. Despite the abuse Moretti puts her through, Moretti truly trusts and cares about Carla. One way he shows this is by paying her better than any other maid in Venza could ever hope for.
Moretti in his 50's, about 5'10" with a slender build. He is a highly skilled glass-blower and artist. He is typically well dressed, but his clothes are notably worn and out of current fashion.
Moretti's text color is green.
Note: House Moretti, under Antonio, is not to be confused with the rural house of the same name, under Imelda Moretti. Perhaps the two families are distantly related, but for all intents and purposes, they are now separate.
